Asparagus might cure cancer

Asparagus might cure cancer -Hodgkin's disease (cancer of the lymph glands),cancer of the bladder,lung cancer,skin cancer.
Asparagus contains a good supply of protein called histones, which are believed to be active in controlling cell growth.

For the treatment, asparagus should be cooked before using, and therefore canned asparagus is just as good as fresh.

* * PROCEDURE:
1) Place the cooked asparagus in a blender and liquefy to make a puree, and store in the refrigerator.

2) Give the patient 4 full tablespoons twice daily, morning and evening.

白領 飯後為何易腹脹

很多白領上班族經常會問:“平常吃完飯肚子總是脹脹的,滿滿的,感覺很不舒服,不知道是怎麼回事?”。其實,多數情況下,這是久坐辦公室的白領常常會遇到的問題。那麼,為什麼人坐的時間太長了容易出現腹脹?如何避免腹脹?什麼樣的飲食和飲食習慣可減輕腹脹呢?

白領一族常常開車上下班,再加上上班時間坐在辦公室裡,眼睛盯著電腦螢幕,一坐就是一整天,加班加點更是家常便飯。長此以往,非常不利於消化系統的運作。
從表面上看,身體處在靜止狀態與消化系統本不太大關聯,但是不可忽視的是,腸道與肢體運動的確有著非常緊密的關係。通過肢體運動,能刺激胃腸道有規律的蠕動。一頓美食之後,整個消化系統就開始工作了,食物會通過腸蠕動,隨著消化道一段一段地往下走,這個腸蠕動的過程,是一邊消化、一邊吸收,一邊形成食物殘渣,最後變成糞便排走。

一個保持運動的人,消化系統功能比較強,不會因吃飯影響腸蠕動,造成消化不良,排泄也會比較順暢。再者,對於缺乏運動,久坐不動的白領,常常由於工作辛苦,為了犒勞自己,吃飯的時候,吃得過精,過飽,肚子會感到有飽脹感。在胃裡會有較多食物時候,如果你立即坐下來工作,或趴在桌子上睡覺,晚上加班回家晚,飯後很累不愛動,便上網或躺在床上長時間看電視,顯然是不利於腸胃蠕動。這樣,食物在消化道停留的時間較長,不能形成大便,很多食物殘渣就會發酵,隨即產生氣體,肚子就感到特別難受,長此以往,會造成你的消化機能減弱,這也是為什麼很多白領容易食欲不振、便秘、長痘痘等的症狀。所以說,飯後腹脹與不運動有著明顯的關係。

如何減輕腹脹呢?


通過運動來達到減輕腹脹的目的。建議你,
第一,每頓飯不能吃的過精、過飽、過快,給腸胃有點消化的空間。狼吞虎嚥或邊走邊吃等不良習慣,容易吞進空氣,造成腹脹;
第二,儘管平時工作過於勞累,精神壓力大,但長期伏案工作,體力活動少,能量消耗小,這種情況下飯菜就不能過於油膩,粗茶淡飯有利於消化和預防腸道疾病;
第三,飯後到戶外遛遛狗,散散步,有利於腸胃蠕動,幫助吸收營養,利於排泄。最好養成每天鍛鍊的習慣,如快行、慢跑、瑜伽、太極等。

Health Benefits of Eating Berries

If you have ever had the pleasure of picking berries right from a garden or gathering wild berries in the woods, you already know how wonderful fresh berries are.
Most berries are naturally sweet and require little effort to prepare. Just rinse them under water and serve for a nutritious snack or dessert.

One cup of strawberries contains over 100 mg of vitamin C, almost as much as a cup of orange juice. We need vitamin C for immune system function and for strong connective tissue. Strawberries also add a bit of calcium, magnesium, folate and potassium and only 53 calories.

One cup of blueberries offers a smaller amount of vitamin C, minerals and phytochemicals for only 83 calories. The same amount of cranberries is similar, but with only 44 calories, 1 cup of raspberries offers vitamin C and potassium for 64 calories.

You can choose other berries with similar nutrition, such as loganberries, currants, gooseberries, lingonberries and bilberries.

More Than Pretty Colors
The pigments that give berries their beautiful blue and red hues are also good for your health. Berries contain phytochemicals and flavonoids that may help to prevent some forms of cancer. Cranberries and blueberries contain a substance that may prevent bladder infections. Eating a diet rich in blackberries, blueberries, raspberries, cranberries and strawberries may help to reduce your risk of several types of cancers. Blueberries and raspberries also contain lutein, which is important for healthy vision.
Choosing Berries
Every grocery store carries a wide variety of fresh, canned and frozen berries. Look for ripe, colorful and firm berries with no sign of mold or mushy spots. Berries can also be found in the frozen section of the grocery store. Once they thaw, they will not be as firm as freshly picked berries, but they are still delicious and good for you.
For the freshest berries, try farmers' markets that offer berries harvested that same day. Some berry farms allow you to pick your own berries.

Ideas for Serving Berries
Most berries like strawberries, blueberries and raspberries are sweet enough to be served just as they are; however, here are some more ideas:
Top a bowl of berries with a dollop of light-whipped topping and a sprinkling of chopped pecans or walnuts
Add strawberry slices to a bowl of whole grain cereal
Sprinkle blueberries on a salad
Stir fresh raspberries into vanilla yogurt
Combine frozen berries with bananas and low-fat milk to make a smoothie
Most berries are naturally sweet, but some are too tart for most people to enjoy. Dried cranberries sold as snacks have some sugar added. Cranberry juice can also be combined with apple or grape juice to add sweetness.

Enoki Mushroom Prevents Cancer


Golden-needle-mushroom (Jin-Gen-Goo) successfully kills 95% of cancer cells ( Taiwan Report) (Hokkien KIM CHIAM KOR)
Research done by Singapore U shows that eating this mushroom can destroy 95% of cancer cells in our body by boosting our immune system.
Professor Phan Hwai Chong of Yang Ming Research Centre in Taiwan told reporter that consuming this kind of mushroom, one of the ingredients in the mushroom can trigger the multiplication of our healthy 'defensive' cells. By out-numbering the cancers cells, healthy cells help eradicate cancer cells.
American scientists have since run tests on this particular type of mushroom extract with blood, done outside human body. Results show that mushroom extract is able to destroy cancer cells.
According to Taiwan professor, since healthy 'fighting' cells can be multiplied to tens & thousands of times, it can either be used as drip or just by eating mushroom.
The mushroom is most frequently taken with steam boat. Cooking time should be less than 3 minutes, or the healing property would greatly diminish.

Before using enoki mushrooms, rinse them thoroughly and trim off the roots at the base of the cluster. Enoki mushrooms can be eaten raw or cooked.. Add them to salads, sandwiches, soups, pasta sauces, and stir-fried rice and vegetable dishes. To retain the delicate flavor of the mushrooms, add them at the end of the cooking process.
Buying and storing tips
When purchasing fresh enoki mushrooms, select mushrooms with firm, white, shiny caps. Avoid purchasing enoki mushrooms with slimy or brownish stalks. Enoki mushrooms keep up to 14 days in the refrigerator if stored in a paper bag.
(you should try storing veggies or fruits in those aluminum foil bags that you throw away if you do buy Milo or quaker oats in packages type; it seems they can keep them longer and fresher; test to confirm??? Keep one end open and not seal it tight.) Varieties

Steam Dorman fish

又是轻便又容易的一道菜。因为多曼鱼没有腥味,所以拿来清蒸是最好了。我最怕煎炸了,因为善后的工做可多呢!...我真的很懒惰呵。

只要把鱼洗净,用盐和姜阉5分钟,然后拿去蒸5-7分钟,取出倒掉水,最后就淋上甜和咸的酱青便可享用。
Is light and easy dish. Because the fish did not smell, so steamed is the best .

Clean the fish, add salt and ginger marinade for 5 minutes.
Then steam the fish for 5-7 minutes, remove the water, and finally topped with sweet and savory sauce !

花膠鮑魚雞湯 - 滋陰明目,益氣健胃


材料(四人份量)
花膠 三
金火腿 少許
鮑魚 一罐
雞 一隻
薑 數片 條切段
芫茜 少許
紹酒 少許
鹽 適量

製作過程
1. 花膠泠水浸透過夜 (浸天較果更佳,要不時換水),棄水,然後放進一煲沸水裏,用沸水焗浸至沸水泠,棄水(酒家會重覆用熱水焗幾次,然後啤水,即用水喉不斷地漂一小時), 花膠切為小塊,再用薑、、紹酒出水,除去腥味,備用。
2. 雞去腸肚,放入大滾水中略滾,取出以清水淨。

3. 開罐取出鮑魚切片,留鮑魚水。
4. 花膠、雞、鮑魚水、金火腿及薑片入煲,加三公升水,以武火煲至滾,再以文火煲個小時,加入鮑魚片、芫茜、鹽調味,即成,飲湯食渣。
功效
滋陰明目,益氣健胃。
藥理
1. 花膠,味甘鹹,藥性平。有滋陰助陽、益腎補精、補氣行水功用。可治療腎虛、腰膝疲軟、畏寒肢泠、水腫。
2. 鮑魚,味甘鹹,藥性平。有滋陰清熱、明目益精、清熱去濕功用。可治療陰虛內熱,乾咳、青盲內障、濕熱淋濁等。
3. 雞,味甘,性,有中益氣、補精添髓功用。可治療虛勞消瘦、中虛食少。
貼士
1. 煲雞湯盡量留皮,只要出水去脂即可。因為連皮煲湯較香滑,雞渣也較可口。

甜酸骨 Sweet and Sour Pork


材料

肉排 半斤

青椒、紅椒、黃椒 各半隻
菠蘿 80克
洋蔥 半個

醃料


鹽 半茶匙
糖 1/4茶匙
蠔油 1茶匙
生粉 1 1/2湯匙
燒酒 1/4茶匙
麻油 半茶匙

雞粉 半茶匙

蛋黃 1個

調味料

生抽 3湯匙

糖膠 1茶匙
茄汁 3湯匙
糖 2 1/2湯匙

鎮江醋 1 1/2湯匙

製作過程

1. 醃肉排20分鐘,青椒、紅椒、黃椒、洋蔥及菠蘿切細粒。

2. 肉排上粉炸熟至金黃,盛起待用。

3. 炒青椒、紅椒及黃椒,加入調味料兜勻,再加入肉排兜勻即成。

Pork Steak 300g
Green pepper, red pepper, yellow pepper half each
Pineapple 80g
Onion half

Marinade :

Half teaspoon salt
Sugar 1 / 4 teaspoon
1 tsp oyster sauce
Cornstarch 1 1 / 2 tablespoon
Shochu 1 / 4 teaspoon
Half teaspoon sesame oil
Half teaspoon chicken powder
1 egg yolk

Seasoning:

3 tablespoons soy sauce
1 teaspoon sugar gum
3 tablespoons ketchup
Sugar 2 1 / 2 tablespoon
Zhenjiang vinegar 1 1 / 2 tablespoon

Recipe:

1. Marinade Pork Steak of 20 minutes, green pepper, red pepper, yellow pepper, onion and pineapple cut into small cube.

2. Flour the Steak on and fry to golden, and stand-by.

3. Fried green pepper, red pepper and yellow pepper, seasonings evenly, then add steak stir it for a while.

星洲炒米線 Singapore Noodle


材料
蝦 半斤
青椒 一個 (大)
洋蔥 一個 (小)
叉燒 4安士
蛋 2隻
銀芽 4安士
米線 350克 (一包400克)
調味材料
糖 1/2 茶匙
鹽 1茶匙
咖哩粉 10克
製作
1.
先將米線煮熟, 再過冷河備用 。

2.
蝦洗淨去腸,銀芽洗淨, 洋蔥切絲, 青椒切絲, 叉燒切絲備用 。

3.
落 1 湯匙油將洋蔥絲炒至半透明, 加蝦、 青椒絲、 叉燒絲、 銀芽、 打散的蛋。

4.
加入調味料, 順序加咖哩粉,糖炒至均勻 。

5.
加入米線炒勻, 最後加鹽炒勻上碟 。

三杯雞












材料

鮮雞
半隻(450克)

油 3湯匙

薑片 大大舊

蒜頭. 5粒

麻油 2湯匙

米酒 1/2杯

豉油 4湯匙

九層塔(切碎)1條

糖/冰糖(整碎)1湯匙

辣椒 1隻

製作

1.
將雞剁成兩吋長方塊,薑片、蒜頭大蒜輕拍備用。

2. 將油燒熱用薑與蒜頭爆香後加入雞肉拌炒,炒至雞肉反白,加入麻油、豉油用中小火至燒乾,最後加糖,再攢米酒至燒乾。
3. 最後加入九層塔及辣椒(如用的話),即可上碟。
